Grace Mugabe

The economic empowerment of women has been Grace's lifelong passion. While working as a senior accountant in the corporate sector, she devoted much of her spare time to this cause, sharing her expertise with various charities. In 2014, Grace took a leap of faith and established Financially Empowered. It provides financial literacy programs that help people – especially migrant women – to build financial confidence. When COVID-19 hit in 2020, Grace moved her face-to-face program online. This opened her training and money management resources up to people across Australia. Grace is now creating an interactive online platform to support the development of microenterprises and provide opportunities for migrant women to build financial independence. The forum will offer courses, webinars and interactive training to reach as many women as possible.
