Luke and Phil have spent many years leading various projects with purpose across Australia, including in remote First Nations communities. Their new venture, Deadly Sheds, brings together all the many established benefits of Men’s Sheds and embeds within them a shed-based social enterprise to construct, assemble, and install products that solve a niche, yet critical, problem with First Nations housing.
Through Deadly Sheds, they aim to empower First Nations communities, provide training and employment opportunities, and address housing issues while preserving cultural values.
Their vision is for Deadly Sheds to serve as community-led and community-owned hubs that help people to lead happier and healthier lives.
