Laura's social enterprise, Muddy Cuddles, is an innovative animal-assisted therapy (AAT) program specifically designed for children in foster care.
Drawing inspiration from her experiences as a foster parent and lifelong dog lover, Laura wants to develop Muddy Cuddles a social enterprise aimed to match children in foster care with therapy dogs, providing a therapeutic lifeline for traumatised children.
This innovative program not only offers direct therapy but also features an app that enables individuals to train their dogs to become accredited therapy dogs.
Laura's vision is to ensure every child in foster care in Australia has access to free AAT and to make it easier for people to train and accredit their own therapy dogs.
