Alexis was appointed Chair of the AMP Foundation in June 2024 and has been a Director since March 2022. She’s also a Director of Cancer Council NSW and a long‑serving Lifeline Counsellor, reflecting her strong personal commitment to community impact.

 

A respected leader in the Australian financial services sector, Alexis is a member of the Financial Services Council Board, the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She’s also a passionate advocate for women in leadership.

 

Alexis is Chief Executive Officer of AMP Limited having previously spent seven years at ANZ in senior leadership roles including Deputy CEO. Prior to ANZ, she spent a decade with ING Group in CEO and regional COO positions across Europe and Asia.

Stephen was appointed Non-Executive Director of the AMP Foundation in August 2023.

 

Stephen spent over 30 years working in investment management, culminating in his appointment as CEO of AMP Capital Investors in 2004. His experience extends both domestically and internationally.

 

He has a strong interest in agriculture, actively owning a farm and investing in livestock breeding and farmland conservation.

 

Stephen is Chair of the Investment Committee and Employer Director of Cbus Super Fund, a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia) and is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

 

Stephen is Chair of Greening Australia and Chair of the Investor Group in Climate Change (IGCC).

Andrea was appointed Non-Executive Director of the AMP Foundation in March 2022.

 

Andrea is a recognised leader in Australia’s financial services, energy transition, infrastructure, investment and manufacturing sectors. With over 30 years of board and executive experience, she brings proven leadership expertise in governance, strategy, risk and transformational change across complex, highly regulated environments. Her extensive experience in innovation, ESG, digital & AI transition and government engagement underpins her contribution to advancing Australia’s clean energy and sustainability goals.

 

Andrea is currently the Deputy Chair of the Woomera Prohibited Area Advisory Board (WPA), the APAC Co-Chair of Women Executives on Boards, and the SA President of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Commerce. She is a Fellow of CPA Australia, Fellow of CAANZ, Fellow of the SMSF Association, and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She holds a Global Competent Boards ESG&S Certificate, a Harvard Business School Corporate Director Certificate, an INSEAD M&A Strategy Certificate, and a Digital Savvy Board Director Certificate from MIT. She was named Australian Woman of the Year in Financial Services in 2014.

David was appointed Non-Executive Director of the AMP Foundation in March 2025.

 

David is Chief Risk & Legal Officer of AMP Limited, having previously held the role of Group General Counsel. He has group-wide responsibility for AMP’s legal, risk and governance functions.

 

David has over 30 years’ experience in the legal profession, with extensive experience in the areas of M&A, corporate law and corporate governance, having worked in law firms in Perth and Sydney and with the ASX.

 

David has held various roles across AMP since joining in 2004, including Group Company Secretary (2013 to 2018) and Group General Counsel (2018 to 2025).

 

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.

Nicola is an accomplished Chair, Director, and CEO with a proven track record in guiding complex organisations across the corporate, philanthropic, charity, and social enterprise sectors. 

 

Currently, Nicola serves as CEO and Executive Director of the AMP Foundation. Her board portfolio includes Director roles at Community Council of Australia (since 2021), and the Mulloon Institute (since 2025). Nicola’s previous board roles include Co-Chair of the International Diabetes Federation Life for a Child program; Director at Stretch A Family; Council member of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEPFI) and advisory positions with the NSW Premier’s Council for Active Living, and the NSW Expert Advisory Panel on Preventative Health.

 

Nicola’s executive leadership career includes CEO roles at Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation, Special Olympics Australia, and Australian Diabetes Council, as well as General Manager, Global Shared Services at ANZ Bank.

 

Nicola and her husband George live on their merino sheep property in the Southern Tablelands of NSW.

Lucy is a Program Manager at the AMP Foundation with over 14 years of experience in social impact. She is passionate about supporting social enterprises and building partnerships that foster inclusive growth and meaningful change. With expertise in program design and ecosystem building, Lucy helps founders create sustainable, purpose-driven businesses. Based in Melbourne, Lucy is also an active community volunteer, known for her collaborative and values-driven approach.

Nicole is part of the AMP Foundation team, with experience across foundation operations, governance, and risk. She supports the effective delivery of the Foundation’s programs and partnerships, working to ensure strong oversight, compliance, and meaningful social impact. Nicole is passionate about community and people, and values creating connections that bring out the best in others - whether that’s linking organisations, partners, or individuals who can support one another to achieve shared outcomes. She is committed to helping build strong, well-governed foundations that enable purpose-led initiatives to thrive. Based in Sydney, Nicole brings a collaborative, practical, and values-driven approach to supporting the AMP Foundation’s work.

Hannah plays a pivotal role in bringing the AMP Foundation’s programs and strategic work to life. Her responsibilities span board coordination, program support, impact reporting, and cross team collaboration. With a strong focus on clarity, efficiency, and stakeholder engagement, Hannah helps ensure the Foundation delivers high quality initiatives that strengthen communities across Australia.
