Every year, over 100,000 students sit high-stakes final exams that heavily influence their ATAR - impacting university offers, scholarships, and graduation. For students in rural, remote, and under-resourced communities, the stakes are even higher, and the resources far fewer.

Exam Insights is working to improve access and fairness in ATAR exam preparation. Built with equity at its core, the platform turns past exam papers into free, syllabus-aligned question banks and personalised insights - saving time, reducing stress, and helping students and educators focus on what matters most.

As a social change specialist, Kelly saw kids struggling to concentrate in class because they were hungry and understood the macro impact of food security affecting Australia. Together with her team she is employing the power of AI coupled with the physical structure of hydroponic greenhouses in reaching remote, regional and low-socio economic schools to promote education, health and economic participation with a holistic focus on wellbeing.

Food Ladder is a social enterprise tackling food insecurity by equipping schools with smart greenhouse systems and a technology platform housing curriculum-aligned resources that empower students to grow their own food while bridging the digital and opportunity divide.

The organisation is scaling its impact through a subscription model, aiming to expand from 40 to 1,000 schools by 2030, delivering over 25 million meals annually.

Levi-Joel, the founder of Indigenous Futures Foundation (IFF), a not-for-profit on a mission to end the food crisis in First Nations communities within our lifetime. He dreams of a day when the vast majority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are culturally strong, commercially sustainable and creatively significant.

The Foundation’s latest social enterprise, ‘Love Ya Corporate Catering’, brings organisations together with a vibrant mix of Indigenous and non-Indigenous caterers. Every corporate meal ordered does more than just feed a team—it provides a free, wholesome meal to an Indigenous family, helps fund essential cooking and nutrition workshops, and supports a network of community food hubs.

Luke’s personal journey through the corrections systems to advocacy is one of resilience, transformation, and hope. His lived experience has shaped a deep commitment to justice reform and second chances.

That journey led him to create Fair Threads, a social enterprise that provides prison-compliant clothing for inmates in Victorian correctional facilities. Every purchase supports their mission to create job opportunities for ex-inmates, helping to build stronger, safer communities.

Each item is carefully selected and packaged for secure delivery to correctional facilities, ensuring ease, compliance, and dignity for inmates. Luke is focused on building Fair Threads into a sustainable and scalable business that supports long-term reintegration.

Maria created Accessilife after experiencing firsthand how difficult it was to find the right products and services to support her son, who lives with a severe disability. Her personal journey navigating a fragmented system became the driving force behind a solution for families like hers.

Accessilife is an online marketplace and directory that brings together accessible products and services in one central place. It is designed to be simple, inclusive, and free to use, helping people search across both NDIS and non-NDIS providers using everyday keywords and categories. The platform makes it easier for individuals and families to find what they need without the confusion.

Accessilife’s mission is to create vital connections between its customers and beneficiaries, encouraging user choice and control, and promotes inclusion by shining a light on all accessible goods and services regardless of size, funding, or complexity.

Melissa is the Founder of the Top Blokes Foundation. At the age of 19, Melissa noticed so many young men around her masking their pain and mental health issues through drugs, alcohol, risk-taking and self-harm. Alarmed by the high rates of youth crime, alcohol-related violence, and suicide among young men, Melissa saw an urgent need to enhance their social and emotional wellbeing.

The Top Blokes Mentoring for 18-24 is designed to support young male employees in the workplace. This eight-week mentoring program, builds emotional intelligence, resilience, and leadership, helping young male employees be healthier and safer in the workplace. Melissa’s goal is to scale the program to various industries with large cohorts of young male employees and support them to create a healthier future for themselves and their communities.

Rebecca recognised a problem in how Australia delivered allied health services, where the waitlists for speech pathology was at times over four years long. And in the last decade while working on the ground as a speech pathologist, she noticed that rather than getting better, it’s only gotten worse.

Rebecca's passion for improving allied health services for children in rural areas drove her to found Yarn.

Frustrated by the lack of recognition for women’s contributions to history, Sita Sargeant founded She Shapes History, a social enterprise working to close the gender respect gap by making women’s stories easy to find, connect with, and remember. What started as a single walking tour in Canberra has grown into a national movement, with tours now running in Sydney and Melbourne, and more cities on the way.

Through walking tours, digital content, a podcast, and a book, She Shapes History shares the inspiring, unexpected, and all-too-often overlooked stories of how women have shaped the places we live, work, and visit. To date, more than 8,500 people have joined the tours, creating more recognition and respect for women’s contributions one step at a time.

In 2025, Sita released her debut book, She Shapes History: Walks & Stories About Great Australian Women (Hardie Grant Explore), which brings these stories to life across 31 towns and cities around the country.
